Another Monday, another makeup class

I woke up extra early today, just to check the weather, make sure I had my brushes all clean and to do my weekly nail paint ritual, which I forgot to do last night. I picked a bright cherry red, such a classic it's always a winner. The weather wasn't really up to much, I could tell it was going to rain at some point so I chucked my hair up and threw on some ripped skinny jeans. I've tried to avoid wearing my light grey jeans to college, as I can barely keep them clean on a day to day basis let alone being surrounded my make up of all sorts. And of course they didn't stay clean for long. I added a touch of Jessica to the look with a little leopard.

Sure enough it rained on my way home and I got drenched! I should have listened to my mother and bought an umbrella.

I'm finding my backpack my go-to bag of the moment, crazy as I ummmed and arrrrd over buying it for ages, a backpack, really? But I love it and it's so practical, so much so that I sometimes think- Oh no! where's my bag? Oh it's on my back. Weird. 

I'm so used to carrying one in my hand or hanging off my shoulder! Newlook have definitely got the right idea as it's so reasonable but looks so classy at the same time!

After showing our presentations on our chosen Stars we then went on to watch a tutorial of Serge Luntens - a very famous make up artist and man of many talents who has a very particular and different make up style. Here are the pieces that were shown to us:

We then had to create our own look with his work as inspiration. Of course I tweaked it slightly and put my own stamp on it but I think it paid off. 

I really like the lace detailing and pale yellow lips. 

Another lesson thoroughly enjoyed and another day of creativity, I simply love it.

Tomorrow I have my first shoot for my Portfolio, with a professional photographer, model and hair stylist. I'm so excited but desperately want to shots to come out amazingly. Keep your fingers crossed for me.
