Sunday Brunch, Blue coat, Baking, Birthday and Bye's

So after a very eventful travel back home yesterday with the girls (I won't go into it), I was in heaven when I woke up this morning, well rested and a lovely day to look forward to.
Just the thought of Sundays get me excited, they always have been and always will be my favourite day of the week, especially when your looking forward to waking up for Monday!

Sundays aren't the same without eggs of some sort so after spending time relaxing in bed we headed out to the nearest place that serves Egg's Benedict... My new favourite with a touch of ketchup. They were delicious but not quite as good as Bill's I must say.

I then popped home to surprise my family that I was back for the day, that was nice. I got roped into some baking while I was there, not that I'm complaining, I really love it. We made lemon drizzle and coffee and walnut cupcakes, the best bit was the left over icing!

Yummmm.

I had a friends birthday garden party this afternoon, with that in mind and the weather slightly grey I decided to wear one of my new winter coats, as it's a pastel blue it was perfect for a grey summers day. I paired it with a casual white tee, khaki skinny jeans and my beautiful Zara statement necklace that went perfectly with the coat. I went all out with the shoes and wore my Very shiny gold pointed flats, they are very comfy after all.

I have had such a lovely day and it has been the perfect end to a fun filled weekend. I have loved being home and I got to see my favourite little ginger in the whole world, my cat Honey. I miss her so much.
Now she isn't going to be a regular feature as she tends to steal the spotlight and I can't have that now can I.
I took a Instant Polaroid of us today to keep in my purse, so sad I know.

Isn't she pretty.

I hate goodbye's, even if it is for a week. I got the train from Brighton to London Victoria, then the tube to Hammersmith. As I was walking down the road where I'm staying that familiar feeling came across me of excitement and adventure.

This evening I have been writing up a presentation for tomorrows lessons, My subject is Grace Coddington - former model and now the creative director of America's Vogue  She is a pretty amazing woman and it's just made me even more intrigued about the world of fashion.

Hopefully I have done enough research and know all the facts I need to know about Grace, she started off as a normal girl with big big dreams, and she went out a grabbed them. I admire her.

So tomorrow's the start of another week learning, listening and perfecting, I can't wait.

I'll keep you posted :)
