Fashionable Friday Fun

I was excited walking to college today, thinking about what looks I could create from the 50's and 60's - probably my favourite era's for makeup and style.
I started with a 50's look, which I absolutely adore as it's so similar to how i wear my every day make up - very Lauren Conrad - which if you hadn't of noticed by now is one of my major style crush's!

As I managed to finish this look in good time I had extra time to go have a potter around Westfields in Shepherds Bush - which was a little dangerous as I ended up in Jo Malone buying myself a new fragrance - now I know they are a little pricey but they just smell so heavenly I couldn't resist. Life is so much better when you smell good right?

I choose English pear and freesia - delightful.

For this afternoon's look we had a 60's theme, which was such a technical but fun look to create, I've really been enjoying pushing myself this week, I'm starting to get a lot more confident with different skins and tones.

I also managed to spend a voucher I received for my birthday today in Newlook - London Newlook is always so much better then near where I live its like a different shop with such great styles and choice, and I ended up picking up this cute shift dress that I wore out for drinks tonight in Shoreditch - I paired it with simple black chunky sandals and a suede tassel clutch - perfection!

I also thought I'd get a little creative and change up my lips as a added statement and use a two tone effect using a vibrant red and pink  - I really loved this look.

I can't tell you how much I've enjoyed my first week here, I've just got in from drinks with the girls, have my best friend snoring next to me and have a weekend full of memories to be made and styles to be shared.

I'll keep you posted :)
