Fur, Fur, Fur and more Fur. This season is Crazy for it and I'm LOVING it. I have been browsing around the net admiring all the fur thats floating about the high street at the moment.
So this weeks DIY is how to get the Fur Collar Cardigan for a fraction of the High Street cost. Sounds good right?
River Island
Topshop
I decided to stick with my go to autumn colour Camel/Beige I can't get enough of this colour at the moment.
I brought this Cardigan from Primark specifically for this DIY and it cost me £10, I brought it slightly oversized to give it the cute casual look so it differs to my usual smart winter coats.
I had the Fur collar from last winter it cost me £6 from H&M but I have seen them in Primark, Topshop, River Island, H&M and also Newlook for around the same price!
You will need:
A cardigan old or new
A fur Collar - any length
A needle and thread
Make sure when you measure the fur around the collar of the cardigan it is even each side so it sits right when its on.
Stitch the outer edges of the Fur making sure to go right to the edge of both materials, the smaller the stitch the more secure it will be.
I decided to roll up the sleeves to make it look more slouchy and switch them both into place.
It really is that easy, and cost me £16 pounds, and when you don't want the fur on the cardigan anymore just unpick the stitches. SIMPLE!
Enjoy making your cosy knits bang on trend with a touch of fur!
I have another DIY for you on friday... it's a Christmasy one!
I'll Keep you posted :)
