It's been a very busy week for me with Travel and meetings of buisness and pleasure!
I travelled up to London on Friday morning with a suitcase packed ready for the weekends
activities. Although I hate having to leave most of my wardrobe and makeup case behind I find a great pleasure in packing a case for a particular event/outing.
Fridays outing was to Tower Bridge to see the Poppies, then make my way up to Stratford upon Avon for a Girly weekend with one of best friends. Bridemaids Dress fitting and wedding gossip and talk was on the agenda. She has chosen Rome for her wedding celebrations in May time and I am definitely not complaining, I can't wait.
I always try to keep my hand bag light when travelling as my suitcase is normally rather heavy! Heres what I packed as my travelling essentials.
Purse - Michael Kors
Sunglasses - Rayban
Lipstick - Tom Ford
Nail Varnish - Barry M - Lychee
Perfume - Jo Malone - English Pear and Freesia
As soon as we got to London I grabbed a Green tea, I'm obsessed with Green tea at the moment. I love this time of year when all the big stores use christmas cups and bags, gets me all christmassy!
I was handed a sample of a Ginger Bread Latte to try and I thought it would be rude not to as it smelt sooooo delicious. Now i'm not a coffee lover but there was pretty tasty! I think it must of been the cream and ginger that helped!
As we were walking to Tower Bridge I walked past 'The Christmas Shop' it was heaving so I didn't venture in, to be honest I don't think anything can beat Harrods Christmas shop anyway and I got lost in there for at least an hour last week. I did happen to notice this in the window.... Oh god I thought I better start on the Christmas Shopping, It always comes around SO quick! Not that i'm complaining, it's the only good thing about the colder months other then the cute fashions and dark lips.
I wasn't that fussed on seeing the Poppie's if I'm really honest, It's something that I though would be nice but I wouldn't of arranged it myself but as it was a family day out I thought why not. I was a little breath taken once I actually arrived there though, it was beautiful and the time it must of taken is crazy! I'm very pleased I make the venture now though, It's not something I will see again, I even felt a little emotional!
I was rather proud of this snap!
After the Poppie's and a very delicious Lunch on the Thames, I headed up to Straford, where my friend picked up from the station. It was SO so lovely to see, we only get to see each other a few times a year so when we do it's so much fun and we don't stop chatting!
Saturday morning we were heading into the Town for Bridesmaid dress pickings and fittings, and a girls lunch. I used my new MAC brushes I got from the Pro store in Carnaby Street this week. I fell in love with the slick white handles and pearl make up case. Just Beautiful!
I also was gifted some products from MAC which I am excited to use, the lip pallet is AMAZING.
I decided to do my face as I would wear it or something similar on the actual wedding day, I chose a rose gold shadow and cat eye liner with a pretty pink lip. Very pretty and fresh looking. I think for the wedding I shall create this look but with a brown smokey eye instead of rose gold to compliment the colour of the Bridesmaid Dresses.
Eyeshadow - Laura Mercier
Eye Liner - Illamasqua
Brows - Bobbi Brown
Lips - MAC - Please me
Foundation - MAC - Face and body
Contour - Tom Ford
Blush - Benefit - Bella Bamba
Now I had packed a cute polka dot skirt with one of my go to fur gillet's and fine knit roll neck. I love this cute girly look, I teamed it with my new Zara boots. I have been looking for the perfect black knee high suede boots that aren't too high to wear with either jeans, tights or bare legs for years and these are the ones. They are so comfortable and fit like a glove and at £79.99 I thought weren't too bad for boots I can wear with anything and everything!
I have seen similar ones in Primark for £29.99 but I was really after real suede ones which I'm happy to pay more for so they would last a few winters but if you just wanting a quick fix the Primark ones are perfect!
Roll Neck - ASOS
Gillet - Topshop
Skirt - Primark
Tights - M&S
Boots - Zara
Bag - Céline
Belt - Hermes
We headed to Lunch before the Bridesmaid dress fitting to the 'Wildwood Kitchen' when I saw the table next to us's pizza come out I was sold. I can't resist a good Italian Pizza. It didn't disappoint.
Dribble.
We spent the night relaxing, catching up and hen foo planning. Whilst browsing on ASOS for some holiday bits for next month I came across these amazing T-shirts, and again I couldn't resist them! They were a bargain at £10 each. She loved them too!

I ended my weekend meeting this little cutie for the first time, My boy got another new pup. He doesn't have a proper name now, but isn't he gorgeous! I feel in love in an instant.
I have lots coming up on the blog this week... Including a new DIY coming very shortly!
I'll Keep you posted :)
