Friday, it's always a good day. Especially this week as it's only 6 more sleeps until Christmas. Excited is an understatement. So I thought what a better week to start a new weekly post for you all... Friday Favourites. Each week I shall be posting the low down on all my week's favourite buys, gifts and products I'm obsessing over!
So lets get started shall we?
Makeup
Emma Bridgewater Lip Balms - £5.99 for the pack (bargain)
I received these as part of my secret Santa presents from one of my best friends, I'm already a Emma Bridgewater fan I LOVE her kitchen stuff. They come in 3 different flavours/smells - Love & flowers, Black Iris and Tea, and Orange. Black Iris is my favourite but to be honest they all smell and taste amazing! If your looking for a last minute Christmas gift for a friends or sister or even to treat yourself they are well worth the money!
Tom Ford Limited Edition Lipstick Matte - First Time - £37
Yes, I know this is a little pricey! But I couldn't resist it in Duty Free, don't worry it's worth the pennies, it lasts forever and doesn't dry our your lips. This particular colour is beautiful and very in at the moment. Plus who can resist that packaging? Not me.
Laura Mercier Caviar Stick Gift Set - £38
I can't explain how amazing these eyeshadow sticks are, they are so metallic and don't crease. You get 6 different colours in the set and each of them are beautiful. I haven't taken them off my eyes since I brought them. For my friends wedding I recently did the make up for, the bride, mother of the bride and bridesmaids all wore a shade. Laura Mercier is a Queen.
Dior Star Foundation - Shade 30 - £32
Now I'm not lying when I say this the best foundation that I have ever used. It makes my skin look flawless and is so light to wear giving me a dewy complexion - that I love. I think the price is pretty reasonable compared to other high end foundations, I only ever need 2 bumps and my face is covered beautifully.
Beauty
Lush - Snow Fairy - £9.99
This is one of my all time favourite products ever, so expect this to pop up again in the future. The smell is good enough to eat and leaves my skin amazingly soft. What more could I want?
They are sold out online (obviously) so head to your local LUSH store with your fingers crossed they have some left, you won't regret it.
Sniffy Wiffy - Coconut - 100ml - £3.50
I recently received this at a bloggers event, by a lovely lady that has just set up business. Like a true blogger I promised I would post about it and give you guys by thoughts. THIS IS AMAZING, I wish you could smell it, you can chose pretty much any flavour you fancy just check out the website. It's not greasy like most hand creams and honestly keeps my hand hydrated perfectly. Being a Make up artist no one wants hard dry hand touching their face so they is perfect for me to use, especially as it's so chilly at the moment!
She has loads of different products and her main product is for men's balls and woman's boobs, to help check your self for lumps and bumps! I think this SUCH a great idea, it's not spoken about enough!
Also 30p from the sale of this product is donated to CoppaFeel!
Jo Malone - Scented candle - £40
Oh My Goodness, I have been dying to get my hands on one of these little beauties for months. They don't disappoint, I burnt my candle for 1 hour 2 nights ago and my room still smells blissful. I chose the Peony & Blush Suede as I love sweet floral smells, I decide not to get English Pear and Freesia as I wear this smell everyday I wanted my room to smell different. I will definitely be buying another, there burning time is 45 hours too! Treat yourself!
Madame LALA Tan - £36
Another product I was lucky to be sent is this fake tan. Having just arrived back from holiday I was desperate not to lose my tan but lets be honest with no sun around this time of year it's already fading! So this was the perfect treat to arrive at my door. It smells like coconut as it's made with coconut water (my favourite) and goes on perfectly. I used a mitt and about 6 pumps and it covered all of my body. It's the perfect shade not to green and not to orange, really natural!
I can see this being my weekly go to.
Ciate Mini Month Calender - £49
My lovely mother brought me this instead of a chocolate calender this year, she know how much I love Ciate Varnishes. Everyday is like Christmas I get so excited with what colour is going to be next! There is such a great range of shades and glitters, I just want to re do my nails every day. The other thing I love about it every day as a quote inside the window... CUTE!
Fashion
Forever 21 Fur Clutch - £12.50
This bag... it's too pretty to use. I'm a massive fur lover, I can't get enough so she I saw this bag in the Bluewater store I had to get it, what a bargain!
I have already decided it my Christmas parties clutch bag, it goes with everything!
Topshop Leigh Jeans - £40
Give me them in every colour NOW, I'm obsessed I already have 5 pairs but it's simply not enough. I can't wait to go to London after Christmas and grab a few more pairs. They are soft, tight and comfortable and if you suffer with skinny ankles like myself they are perfect! Only thing to decide now is rips or no rips?
Matthew Calvin - Meteorite Pendant Rose Gold - £85
This is hands down the best gift I have ever been sent in the blogger world, I am love with it.
I'm normally so fussy with jewellery preferring fine, delicate and true gold. This necklace is all three, I love wearing it on it's own or layering. Everyone always comments on how pretty is it and I have to agree. Matthew does the prettiest, modern jewellery you should check his stuff out.
Limited Edition Boots - M&S - £35
There boots aren't for the boring hearts out there, they are fun, quirky and the perfect fashion statement. They are comfortable and look great with jeans. Go grab yourself a pair before they are gone. They are already sold out online!
Food
Lola's Cupcakes - £12.99
Ahh Christmas Cupcakes, I brought these in London at the weekend and I would of felt bad running the fun Christmas designs if they didn't taste like heaven. Lola's are the best cupcakes ever, and trust me I've tried a lot. Plus how could I resist with that one eyed reindeer!
My own Bake!
I love baking, I keep getting more and more into it. I think it's so relaxing plus I'm a feeder so it works well. Check out my last blog post on how to make these cute gingerbread men/stars into hanging Christmas tree decorations.
Smoothies!
My boy was kind enough to wade through the crazy people on Black Friday and find me a bargain Bullet juicer! I was so excited, I must be getting old. It's so easy all I do is fill the bottle that fits the juicer with whatever I fancy then screw on the processor onto the top and push down for 10 seconds on the machine an VOILA a fresh smoothie is there waiting for me to demolish. It's given me a great new idea for January!
The smoothie making I use a Russell Hobbs Mix and Go Blender!
Books
Calling Mrs Christmas - £3.99 (on amazon)
Normally I love A crime thriller, but as I was heading off on my holiday my mum handed me this to read, and it's definitely got me in the Christmas spirit. If you want a light heart read, with lots a Christmas talk that you can't put down this is the book for you.
Chroma Stationary Notebook - £7.50
Last but my no means least, My Chroma Stationary Personalised notebook, firstly I'm a sucker for anything personalised, secondly I'm in love with this brand and so grateful to be sent this notebook! I've just this week ordered more, the website concept is amazing. The quality is great and the service is remarkable. Every colour book is based on someone she (the owner) is reminded of, what a lovely idea. My book just happens to be called 'Jessica' after a close friend of hers. It's perfect for me and the pages are almost full with all my jots and ideas...
So there you have it my first of many Friday Favourites
I'll keep you posted :)
