A Floral Friday with a touch of crazy couture

I woke up with that friday feeling today, I have such a lovely weekend planned and the thought of not having to wash another make up brush in 48 hours makes me so happy. I must say it's the only downside (if there is one) to being a make up artist, clean brushes are a must and with all the make up  and different models I'm doing each day I'm going through ALOT of brush shampoo!

The look below meant I defiantly needed to scrub my brushes after all the colour and glitter i applied, it's based on Pat Mcgrath's style make up and is very Couture Catwalk. I had so fun creating it, I could really let go and experiment with colour.

Here is the inspiration for the look I created for the Couture Catwalk style, we were given the colours to use. It's a very doll like look and I love the glitter in the inner corner of the eye it almost looks like tears from a distance, very artsy!

This afternoon we had time to practise for our photo shoots next week, I decided to practise the Ombre lip I want to create for one of the shoots. It turned out really well, I don't want to spoil the last final shots so I'll just give you a sneaky peek of the practise piece, i'm really please with it.

I'm obsessed with the ombre lip.

Let's talk fashion, this morning I dressed knowing I was going out straight from my course for dinner tonight with my friend I live with. With that in mind I decided to wear something I could wear during the day but dress up a but for this evening, I opted for a trusty oversized shirt and skinny jeans look as it was a little chilly.

We decided to eat at a little pop up evening food market near Westfield's as it was such a lovely evening, the setting was really cute and chilled out. We had Taco's, Nacho's, Pimms and Hibiscus water. It was pretty Idillic.

I turned my outfit into an evening style by changing into my clumpy heels i'd had in my bag, took of my maxi cardigan and undone the buttons on my shirt a little. Simple, I really liked this style.

Shirt - Primark
Jeans - Topshop
Body - ASOS
Heels - Zara
Bag - Michael Kors

All in all I have had another fun, fulfilling and exciting week, and I can't wait for next week and all the new things to learn. For now it's time to enjoy the weekend. YES.

I'll keep you posted :)
