A rather sweet Saturday

Saturday is my second favourite day of the week, after Sunday of course. I thought how lovely this Saturday was as I walked through Trafalgar Square heading to Charing Cross Station with a Starbucks in hand. I was so excited, as I was meeting my best friends I hadn't seen in a few weeks and we have such a giggle when we all get together. I obviously dressed for the occasion in a pretty embellished cropped jumper and leather skirt.

I Kept my make up pretty low key with a natural matte brown smokey eye and nude lips.

 

 After I met the girls we decided to go for a stroll to Covent Garden, we came across a gorgeous little Bakery called 'BB Bakery'. It was so pretty and caught our eye so much we had to stop off for a cream tea. Obviously.

I really really like green tea. And cake. 

 I was so in love with all the cute little decorations I decided to take a picture of my favourites and share them with you. So simple but pretty right?

 

We had a wonder around Covent Garden and the shops, I was very good and didn't go too crazy on the purchases. For once. Covent Garden was packed and had that great buzz it usually does, the buzz I love. The street performers were on top form today and the weather held out and stayed dry and sunny. Thank God.

I had booked us into a restaurant that had good reviews online called 'Lima Floral' Persian style dining.

The Strawberry and Passion fruit cocktails were delightful, after the scone and tea I decided to just get a starter instead of a main, I chose the beef salad, (it had a much more fancy name). It looked to pretty to eat, but I ate it anyway. It was pretty pricey for what it was but I enjoyed the different food, it's always nice for a change.

After lunch we headed back into the shops, I found myself having a love hate relationship with the AW14 collections, I do love all the layering styles, knits, scarfs and boots, but my heart is and always will be with summer. You just can beat it.

I'm looking forward to my Sunday tomorrow I get to spend it with My Boy, he makes me happy.
