I woke up this morning and practically jumped out of bed and ran to college, I wanted to see my final shot's that bad.
Because of this my outfit today was rather plain and rushed but even so, still one of my favourites of the week.
I wore ripped jeans, a silky white T-shirt, my go-to grey maxi cardigan and my new necklace that my lovely friend brought me as I thought it suited the simple look nicely and gave a little statement.

It also reminds me of my granddad who was very special to me which is really nice, as every time I see a feather I seem to think of him. Strange and sweet at the same time.
I also wore my beautiful gold gladiator wrap sandals which gave the outfit the little extra it needed.

As soon as I got in I asked my tutor when the photographer was bringing them back in, but I had to wait until this afternoon. Typical.
So until then, It was learning fashionable face paint - yes there is such a thing.
I was influenced by Alex Box the creative director of Illamasqua who is more of a artist then makeup artist. She uses bold colours and prints.
The final look was cool ad quirky, I copied the heart idea from Alex Box herself, it's a very editorial look.
We then went on to do body painting - now this was fun! I decided to give my friend a pretty white henna tattoo out of white eye pencil, and added some gold Mac glitter pot to finish it off. I wish I could do it on myself as well - I'd wear it all the time. It's so cute.
I have found it ever so interesting learning how to do prosthetics and body art, It's something I no doubt i'll need to know how to do along the way and it also brings something different to the table. This course has been the start of lots of open doors I can't wait to explore.
Finally the Photographer turned up with my photos, I rushed to the computer to put my USB in to view them, I don't think I took a breath all the while they loaded. This is what this course has been for, to perfect my techniques, put them to practice and showcase them. Luckily I wasn't disappointed, In fact I couldn't stop smiling. Hard work and lots of planning definitely pays off... Thats something I'm going to take with me for the future.
Here are a few of the shots... I'm excited for you to see them.
All about the ombre lips and attitude.
Gold gorgeous goddess.
Not too shabby right?
After I'd finished at college I headed to meet my friend from her work and go for a celebratory drink with some of her work colleagues.
The Pub we went to was right on the Thames and had a lovely feel to it, lots of suits enjoying a friday end of the week drink.
I couldn't help but notice as I was standing outside the busy bar how beautiful Hammersmith bridge is so I took a snap, oh and one of my Favourite Cider and the Pub we were at. It's picture perfect for a friday after work drink if you ask me!
I'm going to sleep with a big smile on my face tonight, not only because it's the weekend and I get to see my boy tomorrow but I feel like I am now really chasing my dreams and getting somewhere, and it feel so good, it's addictive. I don't want to stop.
I'll keep you posted :)
