Spots in the City and Sunday Strolls

So this weekend was a busy one, I decided to write a post for it all tonight. Yesterday morning I left the house early wearing a cool outfit as it was pretty hot, and also I love these shorts so much, they are so cute and comfy.

I met a friend for brunch and a catch up in Parsons Green. This involved Egg's Benedict of course my favourite they were delicious, but again didn't quite top Bill's, in fact I might treat my best friend to breakfast there in the morning! She doesn't know what she is missing.

 Blouse - Pull and Bear
Shorts - Primark
Shoes - Boohoo
Bag - Michael Kors

After having a lovely morning I headed into Chelsea for a wander around the shops, my Boy had treated me to a night in a nice hotel, so I decided I'd take the opportunity and go to LUSH and buy some nice bits, check into the hotel and have a nice relaxing bath this evening while I wait for him to travel up.

I decided to go for the Honey Ball Bath bomb as it smells delicious and is so moisturising, a Rosey-Posey Bubble bar just because of the cute rose petals in it and also a Strawberry massage bar that makes your skin feel so soft. My bath was lovely by the way, where I am staying I only have access to a shower, and I'm a bath girl. Only other bath people will understand.

I walked down Kings Road and sawn this really cool boutique shop called Brandy Melville, I couldn't resist a little purchase and bought a pretty striped dress that I'm sure you'll be seeing soon.

As I was walking back to the hotel I walked past The Humming Bird Bakery, and couldn't resist trying some of their crazy rainbow cake, it definitely didn't disappoint. I'd like to say I didn't finish it all, but I'm not a liar.

YUM.

After spending the afternoon shopping and pottering about I headed to the Hotel, and chilled there for the rest of the day until we headed out to grab a take out pizza from ASK (amazing) and Peach juice and Prosecco from Tescos. We pretty much brought Italy to the hotel room.

As you can see, my day consisted of lots of lovely food, I don't feel too bad though I think I have walked 5 miles, I just love a walk in London n a nice sunny day, especially when it sunny and I have new places to explore. It's a never ending adventure, I have the blisters to prove it!

I definitely slept well.

I love a lazy Sunday morning in bed, even more so when you know you can just get up, shower and then leave the bed unmade without feeling guilty. Especially as I was heading to a private MAC discount hour at the Pro store in Soho. 35% off. Yes, I was excited!

I had packed a cute khaki sweater dress that has lovely chiffon detailing at the back that I paired with my Tan Hermes belt and studded ankle boots. A real City look.

We got to Soho and went straight to MAC, I had a list in my head of exactly what I needed to help complete my kit. I got the biggest MAC bag ever but with the discount it was really reasonable.

I like makeup... ALOT.

I didn't take that long in MAC as when a girl knows what she wants, she knows. Finally breakfast time. We picked pancakes and headed to the Grillshack, after being told the queue was an hour long at The Breakfast Club.

Carnaby Street was the next stop, I grabbed some bargain in the Illamasqua sale, and got these new snazzy draws for my lipsticks and eye shadows from MUJI to put in my Makeup Trolley.

I'm so organised now!

I love having a stroll and people watching, especially in London. There are so many 'interesting' people. We walked to Covent Garden, had a look around and burned some of the pancakes off.
Time just flies by and before you know it, it's time for a late lunch.

We decided to sit in Leister Square at Muriel's Kitchen and continue our people watching but with drinks and Nachos.

Time flies when your having fun and by 4 o'clock I realised my friend from Leeds was arriving soon and we had a girls night in to enjoy and lots of catching up to do.

So I headed back to Hammersmith, said bye to my boy for another week, and looked forward to a night in and the crazy carnival experience at Notting Hill tomorrow.

I'll keep you posted :)
