A couple of days catch up

So I broke my daily routine blog ritual, I do apologise but it is with good reason, My Laptop has decided to get stuck on CAPS LOCK, meaning I cant log in. Luckily for you guys, my boy has lent me his so we have a massive catch up on the last couple of days styles, looks and outings.

I'm not going to go into massive details on Tuesday and Wednesday but I have pictures for you so you can get the gist.

Tuesday was a smokey eye kinda day, and a very warm one at that...

I decided to get up and make a big hearty breakfast as I was still feeling under the weather, I made my very own Hollandaise sauce for the first time ever. It's not quite up to Bill's standard but with a bit of practise and pumpkin seeds it wont take me long!

I chose a cropped black T-shirt top and a pal tree print button up skirt, I slung a red studded statement jacket over the top instead the weather changes... this time of year is so unpredictable. I met a friend and we went for a little shop and a catch up, it's always a pleasure.

Jacket - Zara
Crop - ASOS
Skirt - Primark
Sandals - Primark

When I was last in TK Maxx I brought the Autumn/Winter version of my Summer Dolls House by Ciate, The summer one was filled with pastel matte shades and this one has metallic dark shades inside. I couldn't resist trying them all out. I settled on the burgundy in the end!

I made the most delicious dinner for myself using hallomi, chorizo and spinach... you cant beat a good salad!

Wednesday was a confusing one, I woke up to sunshine so got ready for another summers day, had my morning smoothie... then it went grey and autumnal. So I made a quick change!

I'll have to keep this look for another day!

With the weather in mind and my outfit planned it was the perfect time to try out the only shade I hadn't used in my MAC pallet yet, Dare me. It's a beautiful satin burgundy colour and worked well with Wednesdays look of bare eyes and a strong contour.

It also was the perfect opportunity to wear my ZARA scarf I've been lusting over so a few weeks now, I love a big statement scarf, it really does make an outfit. I simply styled it with a leather skirt, cream knit and beige boots. Perfection.

Me and one of my best friends had gone out for dinner and the food was a little disappointing if I'm honest (other then the strawberry milkshake mmm) but the shopping in the other hand was fantastic, we only went to TK MAXX and Matalan. Who's have though I'd have found so many amazing bargains. I got two dresses and a gorgeous top as well as a cute new chain bag.

I love a chain strap bag, it's so chic and can be used causal with jeans and a shirt or a dress and heels.

I had a really lovely night, sometimes there is nothing better then, dinner, shopping and lovely company.

Shopping's always better alone or with someone you can laugh with.

 It was delightful

So now we are here... Thursday, I told you I'd try and keep it as short as possible. Today I woke up excited I was meeting my best friend for brunch in a cute little tea and cake shop in town. I decided on a quite a simple outfit with block colours, but added  statement with my new chain bag. I LOVE my blue coat, I don;t know how I coped last winter without it.

I decided to wear one of my favourite make up looks today, the double line eyeliner, It's a really simple but effect way to make your eyes really pop. I kept everything else pretty natural as this is a daytime look.

The Tea room was really sweet and the scones were delicious, I will definitely be going back for another visit soon.

After a lovely day catching up I was excited to greet my boy back off holiday, I have missed him loads.

This little treat went down pretty well as well, how does he know what colour's I love? I've trained him well.

The perfect Autumn musky pink shade that also really hydrating for lips in the colder months, I cant wait to wear it. I'm sure you'll be seeing it soon as well as my other purchases this week.

I'll keep you posted :)
