Friends and Face-masks

I woke up this morning feeling a little poorly, I think the weekends events, excitement and festivities had taken it out of me. I decided to not let my cold get the better of me and 'wake up and make up' as I usually do.

I was taking my lovely godmother for lunch for her birthday with my mother, so I chose quite a subtle make up look with a bronze shadow and grey smoked effect under my lower lash line. Coral was the lipstick shade of choice, the Make up Forever ones are amazing, they stay on really well.

I decided to wear my new camel shirt dress I bought in Forever 21 in Oxford street. The sun was out and it was the perfect match with my Zara gladiator sandals. It's so comfy to wear and I think will look great with tights and boots in the winter months.

Dress - Forever 21
Sandals - Zara
Bag - Celine
Sunglasses - Karen Walker

We headed to Eastbourne Harbour to a new restaurant there called Seasons. It's a tapas bar come bakery. The perfect combo.

I chose Mango and Watermelon Green Tea

We shared Humous dip and Nachos

And a tapas platter for main

I couldn't resist the Coconut and Strawberry tart

It was such a lovely day, the Harbour really is an idyllic setting for a afternoon lunch and catch up.

When I got home I met two of my lovely friends for a dog walk with the two pups around our local park, they are both crazy. The dog's not my friends...

I arrived home exhausted, this cold just isn't budging so I decided to make myself a home made face mask and spend the night In bed catching up on MIC and Internet browsing.

Natural Yogurt
Lemon juice
Honey
Green tea
Plus Cucumber for my eyes!

I lit all my favourite candles, they really help me to relax. I love my new Tea Cup candle I received from my friend as a thank you for the make up I did at her wedding. It's so cute and smells delightful too, I can't wait to use it when the candles gone to drink tea out of too!

Sometimes the best thing when your feeling a little bit under the weather is your own bed, crap TV and candles.

Let's hope I'm feeling a little better tomorrow, I have a cute outfit planned and new make up look to try out!

I'll keep you posted :)
