A wonderful weekend

My Friday started with a really cute bike ride across the beach promenade. For me there is nothing better then getting on my bike and just cycling, not planning where I'm going or for how long. It was such a lovely day, summer is so so pretty.

I was meeting my friends for a catch up at hers so I put on a really casual number, which included a cute white lace skirt, orange chiffon T-shirt and sliders. I rode to her house so I wore a long maxi cardigan - riding a bike in a short skirt attracts unwanted attention I have learnt.

I chose to match my Lipstick to my top ans leave the rest really fresh. I have found the best matte lipstick of the moment is Gay Geranium by Number 7 in Boots. It's a bargain at £10 too.

When I arrived she had a wine waiting for me, and my favourite flowers on the garden table, so cute.
She had also made me some homemade body scrubs and body lotions, I'm going to try them out and let you all know how they go. They smell delicious. I reckon she is onto something there though, they are so quirky and organic!

Whipped coconut cream body lotion (this is the dream)

I woke up feeling fresh on Saturday and extremely excited for my girls day/night ahead in Brighton with all my best friends. After choosing an outfit that could work for both day and night I chose lavender smokey eye and heavy contour.
I picked out the colour from my skirt and used it instead of my usual brown smokey colour. I'm really into experimenting with different colours on my eyes at the moment.

After a long train journey we needed a snack, Ice cream was the popular choice, i chose cookie dough and caramel. It was amazing, we actually all sat in silence while eating for once.

We had a wonder around the shops, and the lanes then gravitated towards the nearest cocktail bar... naturally.

After a rather strong strawberry daiquiri, we walked to our dinner destination Meat Liquor, I had been recommended it by a friend and it didn't disappoint. The food was beautifully American and the cocktails tasted too good.

Of course I cant resist a photo op with a flamingo, especially after a few.

I went to sleep with a little head ache (self inflicted) but a smile on my face, I'd had the best day with the girls and it was Sunday tomorrow... my favourite day.

Now, I have been dying to wear this T-shirt for ages, and when I brought it I had envisioned wearing it with jeans, cardigans and boots in the winter. I'm too impatient to wait... I had to wear it and today was the day, so i worked my magic and paired it with a floral quilted skirt and a clashing leopard bag. Since buying this bag I have hardly put it down, I find it goes with everything.

I decided on my trade mark cat eye liner with a glossy shadow and natural lips, I thought it was a good Sunday look, and I was heading to meet some friends early for breakfast so I needed something pretty quick.

After having breakfast I headed to another friends for a snuggle with her pup Archie, he is such a little cutie. I may even be starting to be converter from a avid cat lover.

After all that cuddling and playing Archie was worn out and we were starving so me and the boy went to one of our favourite Italians for lunch, I chose a spicy pizza and side salad. By having the salad it always makes me feel less guilty, god knows why because we went to get a ice cream for dessert!

Salted Caramel and Coconut. I could eat this again.

Tomorrow I'm heading to London for a big family day out Sight seeing and Savoy dinning, I can't wait to be back in the city. I have a really cute outfit to wear too...

I'll keep you posted :)
