Saturday morning was a little bit of a rush, I had to get to train at half 9 and I was still doing my make up at ten past! Typical me style, it's a good job I'm laid back other wise I would of been in melt down mode. I made it though, of course. I had time to take a little picture of my make look for you guys too. I decided that as it was a day event I want quite a subtle easy look.
Esteè Lauder - BB cream
Nars - Laguna
Illamasqua - Gleam
Urban Decay - Naked pallet 2
Mac - Pearl and Boldly Bear lip pencil
I had ordered this dress especially, I have the black version with white pattern already and have worn it loads. So easy to wear and comfy for a long journey. I can already see it looking amazing with tights and a chunky cardigan too!
Coat - M&S
Dress - Missguided
Shoes - Zara
Bag - Celinè
Necklace - Aldo
I had prepared well and got a few snacks for my journey as well as a new read.
I arrived a little early to the event so I went at sat at the bar of the hotel that was hosting the event. As I walked over to take a seat and group of other bloggers called me over to sit with them. You kind of know a fashion blogger when you see one... you just know, especially when there is a group of them.
It was so nice to meet more fellow bloggers and interesting to here what they had to say and how long they had been blogging for. After chatting amongst ourselves and introducing everyone and of course 'following' each other it was time to head up to the event.
After signing in we walked into a sea of balloons, cupcakes and other bloggers. I kept checking out peoples outfits, they didn't even look at me strange it's like they were so used to it. Or maybe they were to busy checking out mine!
Here are a few pictures of the event...
After a good hour mingling, it was then time to take our seats at the catwalk to see the AW14 My Bandage Dress Collection. It was quite interesting to watch people watch the clothes come out, wondering if they liked the same ones as I did. My Bandage Dress did such a good job and the models were gorgeous!
Here are some of my fav blogger's I met yesterday, they were all lovely and we had so much fun!
I couldn't resist stealing some balloons, especially when they complemented my coat so well.
After all that hard work, we decided that we needed to reward ourselves with a Five Guys - Obviously. If you haven't been GO.
Off back home it was for me, I had such a good day but I was looking forward to seeing my boy and getting in bed with a green tea - Saturday night bliss.
I decided that today was the perfect time to wear my new hat, I saw it in TK Maxx last week when shopping with my best friend and knew I just had to have it. That big bow sold it for me. So cute. I decided with that big cute bow in mind I would make my outfit a little more edgy - picking a cut out over sized T-shirt, fur gillet, skinny's, ankle boot's and my go-to bag of the moment my neon Zara shoulder bag! I really loved this look.
Gillet - Topshop
Jeans - Topshop
T-shirt - New Look
Boots - Steve Madden
Bag - Zara
I had a Bridesmaids dress fitting this morning, so I popped there and luckily my dress didn't need adjusting to much so I could take it home and keep it safe until December when I'm off to Sri Lanka - Yes I'm already thinking of what summery styles I can wear.
I brought these Macaroons yesterday in London and forgot to eat them - unlike me. So it was such a treat to find them in my bag this afternoon a perfect afternoon snack. I also made a coconut and strawberry milkshake in my new Jamie Oliver Shake holder - Cute right?
Macaroons - Valerie Patisserie
Jamie Oliver Milkshake Holder - TK Maxx
After an exciting weekend it was time for dinner, bath and then telly in bed.... what Sunday nights are made for!
Lush - Snow Fairy
If you have never tried this bubble bath from LUSH you much, especially if you like all things sweet like me!
So tomorrow brings Monday... another week full of make up looks and fashion styles. I'm excited.... are you?
I'll keep you posted :)
