October Innings and Outings

Tuesday called for a girls night in, and I was hosting. I thought that this was the perfect time to try out my new MAC lipstick. I had gone for a really deep brown, something I had never tried before, yes I have tried deep plum and burgundy but this was dark! But I was totally ready for experimenting, I found I had to darken my brows a little bit more to balance out the colour and over all I LOVED the look. I will definitely be grabbing for this lippy for instant autumn glam!

 MAC - Film Noir

With the dark lips I decided that brown fur was the way to go, so I put on a cosy jumper, added my shoal and scalloped skirt and job done. Such a simple easy look but I think it looks effortless chic.

Shoal - H&M
Jumper - Ebay
Skirt - ASOS
Boots - Steve Madden

Now it was time to treat my girls and bake some thing tasty for desert! I had made them cheesy pasta and heart shaped garlic bread with Elderflower and Mint cooler to quiche their thirst.

I decided to make a Victoria sponge with fresh cream, raspberry and strawberry filling. Delicious.

I made sure I set up the dinner table all pretty.

We spent the evening chatting and eating and chatting and eating. What more could you want of a Tuesday eve!

Wednesday I awoke to a delivery, YES my second Glossy Box had arrived, this months is the Andy Warhol limited edition. I am going to do a separate post and review all the products. I know I have said it before but for £10 a month it's such a good deal. This month's was every better then lasts!

Honey agrees!

I was off out on a date night with my boy so I decided to wear something a little sexy and wear a dark smokey eye. I used the Urban Decay Naked Pallet 2 to create this look.

Necklace - Primark
Body - Missguided

I went for a black and camel theme, Camel is easily one of favourite colours. I loved all the details with the red nails adding a edge of a colour pop.

Gillet - Topshop
Skirt - Matalan
Bag - Chanel
Red Nails - OPI poppy fields

We went for Tapas, It was delicious, the chicken was unreal.

We were supposed to head to the cinema after dinner but it was getting late and the weather was awful so we popped and got this DVD that I have been desperate to watch for ages and got in bed. This film is so funny, if you haven't seen it go buy it NOW!

I love date nights.

Thursdays weather was a little crazy, I went with my best friend to walk the pooches around the park, while it was sunny at least.

They are crazy!

I was off out in the evening to the Theatre on a date with my mother. I have been waiting to see this Peter James play for ages, I love everything murder mystery. I'm sure I was meant to be a detective.

I decided to keep my outfit simple and use my make up as a statement. I created this amazing highlight with the Bobbi Brown shimmer brick in Beige and used MAC's Up the Amp lipstick for a cute purple pop.

This yellow clutch I keep coming back to, if I'm wearing a pretty boring outfit I always grab for it, add's some excitement and contrast, It's so handy to have a bag like this in your wardrobe.

Top - H&M
Jeans - Topshop
Shoes - ASOS
Bag - Zara

Today I (Friday) I have been catching up with my best friend over breakfast and arranging girl days. Now I'm doing a little DIY that I am going to post soon. I can't wait to show you what I have created, it's so easy too.

I'll keep you posted :)
