Home sweet home

Saturday morning was filled with all my home comforts, I had a big bath in my bathroom, I was in my own room, with my own dress room and make up table.
I decided to wear a statement liner, lots of gold gems and chunky chains and a simple topknot.

My favourite gel eye liner is Illamasqua Precision gel liner. It's the best ever. I always use a thin make up brush to apply it, I find it is much easier to get more control.

Doing my make up is always one of my favourite parts of my day, I find it so therapeutic.

After doing my hair and make up I decided I was starving so left the outfit decisions for later and made myself a Mango and Apple smoothie in my favourite flamingo cup, They are my favourite animal for those of you that didn't know.

I also grabbed some Strawbs and raspberries. Delicious.

I had this little face that I have missed so much, following me around all morning. How cute is she.

Then it was time for the outfit planning. I saw my Sunshine yellow coat hanging on the back of my door and decided that I would wear that, I teamed it with my black scalloped skirt and acid grey t-shirt.

I also went for some comfy black loafers as I was meeting my friend for lunch, and heading for a spot of shopping.

Coat - Zara
T-shirt - Primark
Skirt - ASOS
Loafers - Primark
Bag - Chanel
Necklace and rings - Topshop

I met my friend and we went to Costa, for a catch up and bite to eat. My choice was a Red berry smoothie and a huge jammy dodger. I definitely made the right choice it went down a treat.

After Costa we went for a wander around TK Maxx, I have a love hate relationship with TK Maxx, sometimes I find so many gems I love it, and some times it's just full of old junk.

But this trip was a trip I loved, I found the most gorgeous shell dish, I automatically decided I need it in my life, I had to have it. As I was about to buy a new shade of Nail Polish from the brand Ciate (one of the best for nail varnishes in my opinion) I decided that it would be perfect to hold my nail polishes in.

It's one of my favourite buys ever.

I love this raspberry colour, It so different and perfect for this time of year.

I also purchased a new shirt, perfect for the winter months, that I decided that was perfect for a Sunday dog walk.

I was excited to see my boy after a week, we decided to go to the outdoor cinema on the beach where I live to watch Mrs Doubtfire, It was so lovely just chilling out and was a good atmosphere, plus that film is so funny.

As I've already mentioned I brought a new shirt Saturday, so this morning when I woke I was too excited to wear it and made it part of my outfit of the day. I always do that, as soon as I buy something new I'm practically wearing it out the shop.

I paired it with a leather black shirt and ankle boots with cute gold detailing on the heels. I love this laided back but chic look.

Shirt - TK Maxx
Skirt - Topshop
Boots - Steve Madden
Bag - Chanel

I decided to keep my make up really simple but with a pop of pink blush on my cheeks, this such a pretty look, and although I look at bright pink blushers and think wooooh, they always look so much more subtle once applied.

Obviously a Sunday wouldn't be a Sunday without an amazing breakfast, so we went out in search of Eggs Benedict. As always, you just can't beat it.

After breakfast we decided it was time to burn it off ad headed out for a long walk in the woods with puppy Flo. Isn't she a beaut. A naughty beaut though.

I decided to keep what I was wearing on but change into my Hunters, I have had them years and are just so comfy and perfect for woody walks. I hate mud.

Before we headed home for a nap (Sundays are a day of rest) we grabbed a Ice cream from a local Ice cream shop, the best in town. I had Salted Caramel and vanilla. It was to die for.

Dribble.

The warmer weather is supposed to be coming back, and this makes me so so excited! In fact I'm already planning my summer outfits again. I did think it was a little early to start packing away my crops, shorts and sandals.

So get ready for some seriously summery outfits and hot make up styles, ahhh I'm excited just typing about it.

I'll keep you posted :)

A Friday farewell

I could of woken up in a really bad mood today as It's my last day staying in London, but I didn't I woke up with a big smile on my face.

One.  I had a Ice cold Coconut water waiting for me in the fridge. I don't know how I'm going to cope without this particular one, it's the best ever.

Two. Very UK had regrammed me on Instagram and I love it when brands and company's do that, It shows recognition for what I spend half my life doing. This year has really opened up my eyes to the possibilities, I just need to keep pushing myself and gain more and more support.

Exciting!

And Three. My mum was on her way up to spend the day with me.

I decided to go all out for my final day here, I got this cute pink skirt as a present and I have been waiting for the perfect outfit combo and day to wear it.

For some reason I thought it needed to be a posh occasion, but as soon as I chucked it on with a casual crop and slouchy maxi cardigan, I was proved very wrong!

Normally I'm a legs out girl, everyone that knows me knows it has to be either raining, snowing or I'm very pale to have my leg's hidden away. So I wasn't sure if the length would suit me, but I loved wearing it, I could actually bend over with out flashing. And the colour... oh my goodness the colour is so pretty.

Cardigan - Newlook
Crop - Topshop
Skirt - Very
Bag - Celine
Shoes - Zara

This was my most Carrie Bradshaw moment. EVER.

When mum arrived we had a lovely catch up, she was pleased to see me but shocked at my skirt length.
When she said I could choose where we went for lunch it was a pretty obvious decision... Bill's.

She just had to sample the delicious homemade amazing tastes Bill has to offer. She approved Obviously!

Peach and mint ice tea... Stick to what you know.

We went for the homemade nachos and dips and cucumber, carrots and pitta bread with humous and Tzatzizi. Another new favourite.

When headed to Covent Garden for a look around the shops, I bought a new over sized Zara scarf, as I absolutely loved my last winters one so much I hardly took it off. This seasons is a light grey with yellow and tan check - it's gorgeous and I can't wait to outfit plan with it.

I also got a new lipstick (like I don't have enough already) that will be making an appearance soon no doubt!

Then it was time to grab my hundreds of clothes, shoes and make up filled bags and head home.

On the car journey home, I knew it wouldn't be long until I was reunited with the big smoke again.

All I can do now is apply for everything and anything to start building up my portfolio.

I was a sad to see the end of that little adventure... but I know myself, there is always another adventure right around the corner...

I'll keep you posted :)

A very vintage Thursday

As I lay in bed this morning I decided that It was the day to explore some of east London. I picked my outfit wisely, I'm starting to feel the cold, so I chose a long sleeved dress and flat brogues. Hoping they would be comfortable for all the walking I was about to do.

I chose a really natural look make up today... I have days like this.

I actually rather liked it, I'm loving MAC's strobe cream at the moment. I mix it with Make up Forever HD foundation and it gives my face a really fresh look but still give a little coverage.

I'm also wearing one of my new Mac lipstick fav's Jubilee. The perfect brown shade for blondes.

Dress - Very
Belt - Hermes
Bag - Michael Kors

I love my new brogues from Office, I can see them being a staple in my wardrobe this winter on the sunny days, perfect with tights or skinnies.

I found they came up a little small though, so I had to buy a size 6 (I'm normally a size 5) hopefully they don't stretch too much.

Once I was ready for the day, I made myself breakfast... I brought the ingredients last night in Waitrose in South Kensington while I was waiting to meet my friend.

I used Strawberry Organic yogurt, Pomegranate and coconut chunks. Heaven.

I set off on the district line heading east, Brick lane was my destination of choice.

It really is quirky as you can imagine, also full of Indian restaurants.

But I was more interested in the Vintage Markets that filled the streets.

I spent at least 4 hours just wandering around each market, looking for little treasures. I could of bought loads of weird and wonderful stuff.

Instead I settled on a very beautiful vintage gold bangle with gold diamond detail and a pearl.

It's really delicate which sold it for me, as it will compliment all my other jewellery.

It's so pretty and such a bargain.

I walked past Fashion Street (the best street name ever?) and couldn't resist a little picture. The actual street wasn't really as great as you would imagine but I thought the name was pretty cool.

As I said I would, I then hunted for a boost and luckily with the help of google maps I managed to find one. I got what I always get... Mini me mango.
It reminds me of travelling so much, I think that's what makes it taste so good. I fell in love with Boost almost 7 years ago and we have been having a very seriously love affair since.

If you haven't tried it. You must.

YUM.

Before I knew it, it was almost getting dark, so I headed back to the station and got the tube back to Hammersmith. I love tubes, but for one reason and one reason only. People watching, I find it so fascinating, and funny at the same time. It was only about 3 years ago I started venturing on them, as i was petrified of them. I didn't know what I was missing.

I was also pretty organised last night and bought my dinner for this evening. Avocado and Pancetta soup.

Being me, and loving to make things look pretty and tasty of course, I added some cheese and basil. Perfecto.

I've had another lovely day, I can't decide if I prefer the East or West. For the moment I'm undecided. I honestly don't know how people  get bored of London there is just so so much to do, it's always changing.

I missing doing make up though so I'm excited to get back into it again.

My mother is coming up tomorrow for a girls day, I can't wait to see her and explore the city with her too.

I'll keep you posted :)

Exploring the Capital

I was the perfect wandering weather this morning, dry and bright. So I grabbed my A-Z of London my friends bought me when I came up here and headed out. It's so exciting finding new places, spots and favourite destinations that you never knew existed. It opens up your mind, and make you be more appreciative of life. I have to admit, I've fallen for the London in a BIG way. The lifestyle and surroundings is everything I desire at this point in my life.

Watch - Michael Kors
Jumper - H&M
Dress - Brandy Melville
Sandels - ASOS

I found the cutest Little Cafe in Putney called Health Please, Perfect for my detox this week.
I decided on fresh berries, granola and yogurt. Now, it's not Bill's Eggs but very tasty and I could feel it was fuelling me well for the vast amounts of walking I'd be doing today.

After breakfast I decided this was the time to try out my first Barclay's Bike ride, It was as fun as I'd hoped as I cycled down the Thames. delightful.

After I'd been Cycling for a while I came across a cute little park that I thought would be perfect to park up and read my book I've really got into.

I must of got carried away as I was there for hours, so relaxing. People that think that London is all about the hustle and bustle of the crazy crowds, are so so wrong. It couldn't of been more peaceful and pretty.

After all that chilling, It was time for the exciting part... I went to college to collect my certificate for my course. It was a pretty proud moment, I get so excited about thinking about what I could be doing this time next year. I just need to work hard, and play a little hard too.

I felt a little mixture of triumph and motivation as I said goodbye to the college doors.

I made my way to meet my friend for dinner, I made sure I put some heels in my bag this morning so I could be dinner date ready.

These mint shoes are easily my favourite and I don't wear them anywhere near enough. They are such a good statement pair but also simple enough to be dressed down.

I choose to pair them with today's outfit - a simple stripe dress and a big over sized pale blue knitted sweater I fell in love with last week in H&M.

Shoes - Shoebox
Bag - Michael Kors

Following on with my detox, I resisting the urge to have a delicious pizza as we dined in ASK (they do gooooood pizza). I choose a Chicken and Avocado Salad and settled for a water. Luckily I'm a salad lover and water is always my first choice of drink with dinner, so it suited me just fine!

Tomorrow I'm going to go and grab a Boost, I've been craving one for days now and who knows I may just keep wandering to see what other gems I may find in the big City.
I quite fancy a market.....

I'll keep you posted :)
