Autumn's Arrival

Yes, Autumn as definitely arrived, and after weeks of wishing the colder weather would come so I could grab for cozy coats and ankle boots I'm wishing summer back already. What is with this crazy wind, I can't leave the house without getting blow along the seafront so today I'm taking the opportunity to not leave the house until my girls night later and take this time to blog my last few days outfits, makeup and outings.

Sunday was when I really realised we had kissed goodbye to summer, as I was getting out of the car in Alfriston a cute little village in the middle of nowhere I hear a 'crunch' beneath me. Yes, leafs were covering the floor.

I had decided to embrace this weather and wear a comfortable outfit for my date day with my boy, consisting of a leather skirt and oversized shirt. I thought the colours were very autumnal.

Skirt - Topshop

We were off for lunch in one of my favourite tea rooms, The Singing Kettle. They make the best scones, cakes and poached eggs on toast.

I opted for the latter, unfortunately it was that good I had eaten it before I managed to take a picture I did however get a picture of the hot chocolate to accompany it. Mmmmm.

I love that place.

After spending a lovely day together we then headed out for dinner, you can probably tell we both like food. Mexican was the choice. Luckily it's my favourite.

I decided as it was date night I would dress up slightly and make an effort. I put on my new green leather skirt and black lace blouse and teamed that with a statement embellished bag and plain pointy heels. I also chucked my hair up into a topknot and added some dark shadow to take my make up from day to night.

Blouse - ASOS
Skirt - Pull&Bear
Bag - Zara
Shoes - Very

Excuse the creases I had been sitting down for an hot or so eating dinner.

I love to wear leather skirts, whether they are A-line or skater. So when I saw this dark green one in Pull&Bear last weekend I knew I would get the use out of it. You can dressed them up pr down with a simple body or T-shirt. This deep green colour is gorgeous.

I opted for the Steak fajitas as usual, I love them so much and they come with guacamole, which I'm a massive fan of.

Instead of getting desert in the restraint we headed home to spend an evening in front of the telly, which a tub of ice-cream between us. Perfection.

Another lovely Sunday spent.

Monday morning I awoke to wind, rain and my cat sitting starring at me. She hates this weather as much as I do. Don't get me wrong I love a cold crisp sunny winters day but the wind and rain are a no no.

My morning was spent flicking through the pages of Vogue and drinking a 'Little Miracle' juice drink which I'm addicted to at the moment.

Once I had forced myself out of bed I decided to try out some of my new make up I had been sent thought the post. I went for the Bourjois Blue Remix Eyeliner and used it all in my water line, lined my under eye and over lashes. It is actually really good quality and because it's water proof it didn't smudge all day. I also noticed that it went really well with the colour of my eyes so I will definitely be using it again as I think it's really pretty.

I decided as my make up was quite bold I would wear a simple monochrome outfit. I put on my skinny jeans, simple white Tee and a Pale grey Duster coat. I finished it off with ankle boots and this beautiful statement necklace.

Coat - H&M
Tshirt- Zara
Jeans - Topshop
Boots - ASOS
Necklace - Zara
Bag - Celine

I will definitely be wearing this look, or a variation of this look again. It's so chic.

Tuesday morning called for an Ombrè lip! This is one of my favourite make up looks to create, In fact I'm thinking of making a tutorial for you all. It's not as hard as it looks and just has the most amazing effect on the lips. You can make it as subtle or bold as you feel like.

I went for a deep purple/red and pink, which I found to be quite subtle, others may not!

It was another day for another simplest outfit, I really getting into the minimal luxe look at the moment. So I wore trusty skinny jeans, an oversized nude jumper, fedora and ankle boots. Simple but so sophisticated at the same time. Plus it's soooo comfy!

Hat - H&M
Jumper - Primark
Jeans - Topshop
Boots - ASOS
Bag - Chanel

I while I was feeling so autumny I thought it was the perfect time to have my first autumn soap, I chose tomato and basil, simple but delicious, with a touch of added cheddar cheese.

That's Autumn in a bowl right there!

One of my best friends popped over for a catch up and we spent the evening baking a cake which turned out to be a "Lemon infused pastel lever cake with strawberries on the top'. Oh god, it was huge.

I don't do things by halves!

As I was icing each layer my friend pop in with flowers and strawberries AND chocolate as a little treat for me. If you couldn't tell by now I do have some of the kindest, cutest friends.

I love roses, they always make me smile.

I'm excited for my girls night tonight, its the GBBO final. In fact I may bake some cupcakes for the occasion!

I had a very exciting email today and I will let you know all in my next post...

I'll keep you posted
